Why www.dreamkeywest.com?

Why is actually easy. It's the perfect name. If where the name came from is more the question, then the answer lies in the intro for the first episode of the Fox TV series to which this site is largely dedicated.

There is a quick shot of the rear name plate of a charter boat named "DREAM", under which name is the home port, listed as "Key West".

When I read that name, I read it as "Dream Key West", and I'm sure that I am not the only one who read it that way. Maybe Freudian, maybe not. The interesting thing may be that it stuck with me for so long.
