Key West's newest citizen - Seamus O'Neill wins lottery and moves to paradise.
Reports of gunshots yesterday on Smathers Beach were investigated by local law officials, revealing one victim found dead in the water. The victim, a blue Pontiac convertible, sustained three bullets to the engine block, according to Sheriff Jeremiah Cody. No arrests have been made. Indeed, no warrants have been issued. "No law against killing cars", Sheriff Cody stated.

An episode about hurricanes had been planned all along, but when Andrew hit Florida, the writers did a re-write to reflect for a more somber and serious tone. The resulting episode was passionate and powerful as we delve into the fears of the characters.

On This Day In History
10 years ago - CiCi Beausoleil passed away this evening at exactly 8:00 p.m. while performing her clown act. CiCi was known far and wide for her ability to make her audience roll with laughter. She died in her husband's arms, who later commented, "Her little heart just gave out". Her husband, Paul "Gumbo" Beausoleil, proprietor of Key West's popular "Gumbo's Bar and End of the World Cafe" had been her circus act partner.
